'If My Son Did What Michael Adebolajo Did, I Would Be Happy': Hate Preacher Omar Bakri Muhammad Says He Is Proud Of Lee Rigby Killer

 

A hate preacher says he would be 'proud' if his son killed a man like Lee Rigby's murderer Michael Adebolajo.

Omar Bakri Muhammad said if his son, who was sitting on his father's knee during the interview, grew up and killed a soldier he would be 'happy'.

Adebolajo attended and spoke at the radical group Al-Muhajiroun's demonstrations after joining the group in 2003. He also changed his name to Mujahid, meaning ‘one who engages in jihad’.

Over the following years he cropped up again and again at Islamist events.

Channel 4 News reports Omar Bakri Muhammad, the former leader of Al-Muhajiroun, said he was proud of the killer.

He said: 'I've got a son, if he did what Michael did I would be happy.'  Muhammad is living in Tripoli, Lebanon, after leaving the UK because he believed he would be arrested. 

He said that Adebolajo, 29, was a 'quiet, shy person' looking for answers.

Muhammad said he did not feel sympathy for Lee Rigby and was 'proud' of what Adebolajo did.

The interview provoked criticism from people on Twitter who said Channel 4 should not be giving the preacher 'oxygen'.

Former MP Tony McNulty said: 'C4 interview with Omar Bakri Mohammed just disgraceful - why give this idiot any oxygen of publicity at all - total puff interview. Woeful.'

The journalist who recorded the interview, Paraic O'Brien, replied: 'Disagree. His inability to engage with LeeRigby as a human/Dad told us lots about the radical mindset.'

He also added: 'Thanks for all feedback.I know many disagree but I felt Bakri's inability to engage with personal tragedy & his online reach = newsworthy.'

As Adebolajo was convicted of murder, he refused to show any remorse.

During the trial, he told Lee Rigby’s family how he will never regret killing the fusilier because he is a ‘soldier of Allah’.

Adebolajo kissed the Koran when he and Adebowale were convicted of murdering Fusilier Rigby at the end of an astonishing four-week Old Bailey trial.

The victim’s parents, estranged wife and fiancée were overcome with emotion as the jury of eight women and four men returned their verdicts in just 90 minutes.

His mother Lyn and sister Sara sobbed as others hugged.

Mr Justice Sweeney told of his gratitude and admiration for the soldier’s family who, he said, had shown great dignity throughout the most harrowing of evidence.

Chris Brown Judge Revokes Probation

Chris Brown is in trouble ... again. The judge in the Rihanna beating case has just REVOKED his probation because of the fresh assault charges filed in Washington D.C.

Brown was in court for a progress hearing. The judge felt the criminal complaint in D.C. is enough proof that Chris did NOT obey all laws ... which he's required to do while on probation

The judge did not remand Chris into custody, because hizzoner was impressed by Chris' progress in his anger management rehab. The judge will hold a hearing on the matter in February, and it's possible he could sentence Chris to time in the pokey.

The judge also ordered Chris NOT to use medical marijuana for the time being. Brown was popped in Oct. for felony assault -- later reduced to a misdemeanor -- and the L.A. County Probation Dept. launched an investigation.

Lawyer & Friend Die Mysteriously In Traffic In Asaba, Delta State

A lawyer and a man, believed to be one of his workers, were found dead this morning in a Toyota Camry car after the popular Inter-Bau Roundabout in Asaba, Delta State. The engine of the car was still on and the air conditioner was also on when the incident happened.

The were found dead by passersby who saw that the car wasnt moving and the occupants were on standstill. No one knew the cause of their death. But some people who identified the man said, he mostly dealt with land matters and was  returning from a court session.

Khloe Kardashian Filing for Divorce Today!

Khloe Kardashian is filing for divorce from Lamar Odom today according to TMZ.

Sources say Khloe will be citing irreconcilable differences in her legal docs. The split should be pretty cut and dry -- an ironclad prenup which kept all their assets separate ... and no kids.

As was reported in the media, Lamar's bizarre freestyle rap video -- in which he brags about cheating on Khloe -- was the last straw in their crumbling relationship.   Immediately after the video leaked online  last month, Khloe stopped wearing her wedding ring.

The end was a long time coming for Lamar and Khloe  who tied the knot in September 2009.  Khloe had expressed dire concerns about the marriage ever since she learned about Lamar's crack addiction earlier this year, but she forestalled divorce for fear he'd OD or worse.

Supreme Court Quashes Corruption Conviction Of PDP Chieftain Bode George

 

Two days after former President Olusegun Obasanjo accused President Goodluck Jonathan of condoning corruption, a panel of judges at the Supreme Court of Nigeria today quashed the conviction handed Bode George a Peoples Democratic Party chieftain earlier jailed for corruption by a Lagos High Court.

 The court discharged and acquitted Mr. Georger claiming that the prosecutors at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had no evidence of Mr. George's intention to commit fraud at the Nigeria Port Authority where he was caught presiding over a contract bazaar the bled the nation of Nigeria.

 A panel of judges headed by a controversial judge, John Afolabi Fabiyi JSC, ruled that the charges of "contract splitting" upon which Mr. George was convicted is unknown to law.

 The pattern of quashing the conviction was similar to the Court of Appeal quashing of murder

charges levied against former Chief Security Officer of late maximum dictator, Sanni Abacha with the same lawyer, former Nigeria Bar Association, J B Daudu playing a lead role in securing Mr. George's freedom today.

 Since leaving prison a few years ago, Mr. George had been closely linked to President Jonathan, even openly bragging that his conviction will be upturned.

Paul Walker Family Believes Road Bumps Caused The Accident That Took His Life

Paul Walker died after the speeding Porsche in which he was riding hydroplaned on reflective plastic markers in the street ... at least that's what his family and accident reconstruction experts believe.

Sources close to Paul's family tell TMZ ... the family has been in touch with stunt experts who have gone to the crash site and come back with what they believe is a solid theory -- a speeding car that hits the plastic markers -- called Botts' Dots -- will hydroplane, causing the driver to lose control.

And there's this ... Porsche sent out a memo to dealers back in 2004, warning about control problems with the Carrera GT, saying, "This vehicle cannot drive over a Foster Beer can that is lying on its side.  It will crush the can and damage the carbon fiber under panels," adding, "You need to be aware of what type of road surface you are on (dips, pot holes, seam heights, etc.)."

The severely disfigured man whose full-body tumours were lovingly kissed by the Pope has told MailOnline the moving story of his life.

Vinicio Riva, from Vicenza in northern Italy, is covered from head-to-toe in painful growths, a symptom of his genetic disease neurofibromatosis, passed down to him by his late mother.

Earlier this month the 53-year-old's picture spread across the world when he was warmly embraced by Pope Francis at one of the pontiff's weekly audiences in St Peter's Square.

In an  interview with MailOnline, the brave man has described meeting the head of the Catholic church, saying that being caressed by Pope Francis made his heart beat so fast he thought he 'would die'.

The pontiff's hug was 'like paradise', he said, adding: 'He didn't even think about whether or not to hug me.

'I'm not contagious, but he didn't know that. But he just did it: he caressed me all over my face, and as he did I felt only love.'

Mr Riva recollected: 'He came down from the altar to see the sick people. He embraced me without saying a word. I felt as though my heart was leaving my body.

'He was completely silent but sometimes you can say more when you say nothing.'

'First, I kissed his hand while with the other hand he caressed my head and wounds. Then he drew me to him in a strong embrace, kissing my face.

'My head was against his chest his arms were wrapped around me. It lasted just over a minute, but to me it seemed like an eternity.'

Moment A Nude Woman Walked Onto Chicago Train, Announced She Was A Goddess And Headed To The Front To Drive

A naked woman shocked train commuters in Chicago on Saturday when she jumped the turnstile and declared she was the ‘Goddess of the Train’ and planned to take over the train.

The unidentified woman appeared at the Granville station of Chicago’s Red Line, the Chicago Transit Authority's busiest line, in her birthday suit.

She then slapped several commuters before heading to the front of the train with the intent to drive it.

According to eyewitnesses, the 31-year-old ordered all passengers off, causing a 15-to-30-minute delay in service.

Police arrived at the scene around 12:45 pm and escorted the woman off the train, said DNAInfo Chicago.

The woman was taken to St Francis Hospital in Evanston for evaluation.

A police spokeswoman said the woman suffers from a mental illness, but would not specify which one.

A Chinese Woman Tries To Commit Suicide After Argument With Husband

A  Chinese man managed to catch his suicidal wife at the moment she decided to jump from the balcony of tower block in Changjiang, southern Hainan Island in China. According to the man, they were arguing when his wife suddenly went to leap from the balcony.

He rushed forward and was able to grab one of her legs – leaving her dangling over the drop below with her trousers half pulled off. He managed to hold onto her for ten minutes before emergency services arrived to assist him to pull her back to safety. She was later transferred to the hospital after her family  comforted  her. .

STRANGE AFFAIR: Husband, Wife & Lover Living Under The SAME ROOF

When mum-of-two Maria Butzki left her husband Paul for another man, she didn’t realise how much she’d miss him.

At the same time, she couldn’t imagine living without her new lover Peter Gruman.

So when the two men struck up an extraordinary friendship, she came up with the perfect solution... and moved Peter into the family home in Barking, East London.

Now Maria, 33, Paul, 37, their two children, Laura, 16, and Amy, 12, and Peter, 36, live as one big happy family.

“People might think it’s weird but I love both men and couldn’t choose between them,” says Maria, a housing liaison officer.

“When I left Paul there was a huge hole in my life. But the thought of never seeing Peter again was heartbreaking. So living with both men is the only way.”

Incredibly, the men agree. Paul, a railway assessor, says: “Peter is a great guy. When Maria first had the affair with him I was just heartbroken.

"But as I got to know him, I realised we have so much in common. We both adore fishing, and he’s like a surrogate dad to the kids.”

Peter, a construction site manager, adds: “We all get on so well. It doesn’t feel as if I’m sharing Maria. There’s no jealousy ...it feels as if we area team.”

It was last year that they all moved in together after three years of Maria to-ing and fro-ing between her husband and lover.

Peter sleeps on the sofa while Paul has a room upstairs. Maria shares a bedroom with her eldest daughter.

She says: “The three of us never share a bed. Although I have a sexual relationship with each man, that side is kept very private.

"If Paul is out, then Peter and I might make love, and vice-versa. But both men turn a blind eye and we never discuss it with one another.”

Maria was 15 when she and Paul met at school. After dating for two years, she unexpectedly became pregnant.

Paul proposed seven months into her term and a month later they married. Four years after the birth of Laura, Maria had their second daughter Amy.

But in 2006 their marriage hit a rocky patch.

Maria says: “Paul was out of work for six months and it put a strain on our relationship. The stress led to less sex and we grew apart.

"Although we carried on with life – cooking, cleaning, looking after the children – we’d lost our intimacy. The relationship was more brother and sister than a couple.”

Around the same time a new manager, Peter, started at Maria’s workplace.

“Someone introduced me to Peter and when we smiled at one another, I could feel the chemistry straight away,” she says.

“Until that moment, I’d been happily married for 13 years to my childhood sweetheart and had never thought about being with another man.”

Peter, who was also married at the time, recalls the same instant attraction. “It was like a bolt from the blue... love at first sight,” he says.

Soon the pair were meeting secretly. “We’d meet at the local pub for lunch,” says Maria.

“One day he put a hand on my leg and my whole body began trembling with desire. I knew it was wrong but soon we were sleeping together.”

Their affair carried on for a year before Paul stumbled on messages between them on Maria’s phone.

She managed to convince him they were just friends. But a few months later her lover left his wife and moved from Luton, Beds, to be closer to Maria in Barking.

“I grew even closer to Peter,” says Maria. “Paul had to go away on business for a few weeks and so Peter took the children shopping, spoiling them rotten with gifts.”

But on Valentine’s Day in 2010, Maria says she could no longer cope with the secrecy.

“I began to feel more and more that my future lay with Peter,” she says. “So I confessed my affair to Paul, and moved out to stay with Peter.”

Paul and the children were devastated. He says: “I was just shocked and heartbroken. I couldn’t believe Maria had left me.”

Over the next few months Paul and Maria took turns to have the children. “I felt bad about tearing the family apart,” says Maria.

“So after work I’d go and clean and cook for Paul and the kids and then go home to Peter.”

Paul says: “While I was so upset, I decided to try to put the children first. It was going to be much better if we could all be mature adults and be amicable about it.

"I could see Peter was a decent guy. When the kids went to stay over I knew he was putting himself out to make sure they were happy.

"I’d go to pick them up and we got chatting.”

Over the next year their relationship became even more amicable.

Maria says: “Rather than cook two separate dinners, it was easier to just do one and all sit down together.

"Paul and Peter got on so well they went on a fishing trip together. We even started going on days out and holidays together.

“It was strange but I noticed I felt at my happiest when we were all together. The children adored having both of them around too.”

Then in November 2012 the tenancy on Peter’s rented flat came to an end. He went to stay with a friend and Maria moved back to the family home.

Maria says: “It was supposed to be a temporary arrangement but while I missed Peter terribly, it was fantastic to be back as a family.”

When Peter found another flat, Maria decided it was time to sit both men down and be honest with them. “I said I loved them both,” she says.

“I said I couldn’t face living without either of them.”

Peter says: “By now Paul and I had developed a huge respect for each other. We didn’t see one another as rivals for Maria’s affections.

"We were friends who got on well. At the same time I’d come to care so much for the children. It seemed natural to live together.”

Paul says: “Maria was and still is my soulmate.”

The “family” are now in the process of buying a larger house to accommodate them all.

Maria admits many friends and family find the arrangement difficult to understand.

 “Some people are shocked, mostly because they get the wrong idea and think it’s some sort of threesome,” she says.

“Most people seem to think I should just remain with Paul, but those who see all of us together think differently.”

She adds: “There are huge benefits to living together. For example, as Paul and I leave for work early, Peter is often able to take the children to school.

“Ultimately the children benefit from three adults able to help with school work or give them lifts. Financially too, it makes sense as the bills are split three ways.”

Ironically, Maria is now the one who sometimes gets jealous. “I’m left on my own when the pair of them go on a long fishing trip,” she says.

She’s unsure what the sleeping arrangements will be in their new house.

“But we would never have any sort of rota where I sleep with Peter one night and Paul the next.

"I do know I’m very lucky to have two wonderful men in my life.”

Her life may be an open book, but Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had made it clear it would not be the same for their baby.

Despite Kanye's wishes to keep himself and daughter North off the reality star's show and out of the public eye as much as possible, on Tuesday Kim had a change of heart and posted not one, but two pictures of their growing girl on Instagram.

Until now there had only been two pictures of the five-month-old's face but in quick succession North's famous mother posted two new images for her more than 11 million Instagram followers to see.

Chinese Mother Forces Her Son, 4, To Drink Petrol Then Sets Him And Her Husband On Fire 'Because She Was Not Treated With Respect'

A Chinese boy is fighting for his life after his mother forced him to drink petrol and then set him on fire.

Authorities said the four-year-old was abused then torched in a grotesque plot by his mother to get revenge on her husband who she felt was not treating her with the 'proper respect'.

The tragedy happened in the city of Jinhua in Zhejiang province in the east of China.

Neighbours said that the woman and her husband were frequently arguing about money.

The woman, 40-year-old Shen Dan, and the man, 48-year-old Zhang Qiusheng, were both divorced and had then married each other.

Before their marriage, Zhang lived with her daughter, Zhang Mengting, who is a college student now.

After they were married Zhang and Shen had their own son, a boy called Duoduo.

But the two were always rowing about money. At the start of this month the woman - after a particularly heated argument - had left the apartment to return with a can of petrol.

She had then tried to force her son to drink it but had only been partially successful as the boy had tried to fight once the first sip had gone into his mouth.

As his father tried to intervene, she dragged the boy towards the naked flame on the gas stove, spilling petrol over all three of them - and they then all caught fire.

Despite the burns, the father rushed with the boy into the living room where he wrapped his head in a blanket to extinguish the flames. The boy is now in intensive care.

Doctors say the boy has 35 per cent burns mainly over his head, but also that his lungs had been badly damaged from the petrol and the flames.

Even if he survives they say he will almost certainly not be able to speak and will most likely be blind.

The woman and her husband were also hospitalised with 15 per cent burns over their body.

The woman faces criminal charges once the police investigation is complete - but for Zhang his world has ended.

He said: 'I just can't understand it, she had disputes with me about money and she was so furious and angry that she felt the need to lash out by injuring that which was most important to me - my darling son. He's her son too, I just don't understand it.

'I hope I never have to see her again - I will certainly be getting a divorce soon as I can get out of here and find a lawyer.'
