Bobby Brown freed after serving just nine hours of his prison sentence rs of his sentence.

New Edition singer Bobby, 44, had been ordered to spend 55 days behind bars for drink-driving but was released almost immediately because of jail overcrowding.

The ex-husband of late singing icon Whitney Houston was led away from court yesterday after the star left it until the very last day to hand himself in.

He had been handed the sentence in February following his arrest back in October.

The singer will now spend the next four years on probation and will complete an alcohol education course.
