Six months
after rapper Big Sean and "Glee" star Naya Rivera got engaged, the
couple has called off the wedding. A rep for Big Sean has confirmed that the
26-year-old MC and 27-year-old singer/actress will not be getting married, at
least for now.
"After
careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to
call the wedding off," reads the statement from Big Sean's camp. "The
recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply
untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that
they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be
commenting again on this matter."
Those
"recent rumors and accusations" revolve around Big Sean cheating on
Rivera. An independent source has denied that rumor to Us Magazine.
Last
October, Big Sean (real name: Sean Anderson) and Rivera announced their
engagement after roughly six months of dating. The G.O.O.D. Music star, who
released his sophomore album "Hall of Fame" in August, guested on
Rivera's single "Sorry" last year.
"I
think he's incredibly talented, and has a great ear," Rivera told
Billboard of Sean last September. "He's the big dog, and I'm just a little
Chihuahua trying to come up."
