Sophie Aldridge, 20, from Kent (pictured left at seven and
eight months pregnant), had no idea she was pregnant - and had in fact thought
she was suffering from period pains. When the pain got worse, she called an
ambulance and her waters broke on the way to hospital. Baby Thomas was born 30
minutes later weighing 5lb 8oz. She said: My period was due that day so I
assumed that was why I was having such bad pains. I know it might sound really
stupid to some people, but I literally had no idea I was pregnant - I didn't
have any symptoms. I didn't get morning sickness, I stayed wearing my size ten
clothes and had regular periods.'
