Eleanor Hawkins (pictured, left, after her arrest), 24, is
among five Western tourists accused of 'upsetting the gods' by posing nude
(inset) on the country's highest peak just days before an earthquake killed 18
climbers on the mountain on Borneo Island. She was remanded in custody after
being ushered into court in a purple prison uniform. The aerospace engineering
student, from Derby, faces charges of obscenity which can carry a three-month
prison sentence. Last night it was reported that one local tribal chief had
called on the tourists to pay a 'sogit' or fine of ten buffalo or face jail.
