Lil Wayne to Birdman, I'm Willing to Stay If the Price is Right

Lil Wayne will stay with Cash Money and Birdman IF they ante up the money he's owed ... in fact, we're told if Cash Money pays up, Wayne has no choice but to stay.

Sources involved in the case tell TMZ ... Wayne feels Birdman's decision to avoid paying him is nothing more than a power play. TMZ broke the story that Wayne is suing, and a central claim is that Birdman has consistently stiffed him over the last year.

There are 2 payments that have irked Wayne -- he says he was owed $8 million when he went into the studio to record "Tha Carter V" in December 2013, and another $2 mil when he completed the album last month.

We're told the hope is that Universal -- which distributes Cash Money Records -- will step in and earmark the $10 mil for Wayne. And we're told Universal is already putting pressure on Cash Money to settle.

If Cash Money pays Wayne the $10 mil, it would essentially eliminate any breach of contract. That means Wayne would have no legal basis to ask out of the contract. Even though Wayne's suing for $51 million, most of that is predicated on future lost profits which would not be an issue if they settle.

As for the release of "Tha Carter V" ... even if the case settles the power would be in Birdman's claws.

Ludacris Wins Custody Battle Of His Daughter Amid Baby Mama Drama

Ludacris has won a court battle against his baby mama Tameka Fuller, where he won custody of his 1 year old daughter. Thought the singer and his baby mama were granted joint custody,
Ludacris will have primary physical custody; hence the baby girl is to begin living with him. Prior to winning, Ludacris was accused by Tameka of not wanting the baby  in the first place. She further accused him of trying to make her abort the baby by bribing her with 10 thousand dollars.
“I told him the same day I found out. He was not happy. He cried. He did say this isn’t something that we planned. Let’s move forward with an abortion.
The baby’s not going to have a family. The baby is not going to be with the mother and the father in the same house. This is just all bad. This is going to ruin his life and ruin his career. He gave me the money for an abortion actually. It was $900 and some change. We were having a conversation about it. He was like I can’t take you back to the house. I got 10 grand. I’ll work it out. I can help you out with whatever it is you need. If you need a house…we’re going to work together.”
Tameka was of the opinion that Luda’s marriage to Eudoxie was a ploy to convince the judge that he has a more stable home than his baby mama.

Lil Wayne Threatens To Take Drake & Nicki When He Leaves Cash Money

TMZ reports Nicki Minaj and Drake are Lil Wayne's goldfish ... 'cause when he finally storms out of Cash Money Records he's taking them along for the ride ... even if Birdman has other plans.
In addition to demanding millions from Birdman -- Wayne plans to sue to ensure all his Young Money Entertainment artists remain under his umbrella.
Drake, Nicki, Christina Milian, and Lil Twist are all signed to Wayne's label. Mack Maine is also a YME artist, and the label's president.
Even though Birdman was integral in molding Drake and Nicki's careers ... we're told Weezy believes the superstars should go with him because their contracts are with YME.
