Indonesian Town Gets High After Cops Burnt 1,100 Pound Of Marijuana

A whole Indonesian neighborhood ended up getting high after cops burnt a 1,100-pound mountain of seized marijuana nearby.
Dope worth $1 million was sent up in smoke close to the police HQ in the Tangerang district of Jakarta, reports Asia One.
But fumes from the bonfire, which was started by mask-wearing officers, spread over nearby homes.
Locals and journalists covering the blaze reported feeling buzzed, dizzy and “unusual” after inhaling the potent fog, reports Science Times.
“I got a headache because I wasn’t wearing a mask,” said a resident named Deden. Another journalist reported having to “sit down and have a cup of tea” to recover.
Cops also destroyed 4-pounds of confiscated crystal meth and 2,538 ecstasy pills in the day of action on March 11.
Those narcotics were not believed to have been burned, however. It’s unclear how they were disposed.
A spokesman for Indonesia’s National Narcotics Agency insisted that inhaling the fumes would “not lead to any long-term health problems,” reports Asia One.

Terrence Howard Ex-Wife Accuses Him Of Owing Her over $508,000 In Spousal Support

 Terrence Howard owes his ex-wife $508,000 and counting ... so she claims, and she's gunning for a payday.
Michelle Ghent claims Terrence has been hiding assets and grossly undervaluing what he makes a month to avoid his spousal support obligations.
 Terrence is required to pay Michelle $5,800 a month in spousal support, but if he makes more than $62,500 a quarter, she gets 21% of the excess. According to her docs, Terrence made $125,000 an episode in Season 1 and he's sure to get a huge raise.
Michelle claims Terrence has not only failed to pay the 21%, but she says he's way behind in the $5,800 monthly obligation ... to the tune of more than $100k.
Also according to Michelle's docs, Terrence is using his first ex-wife's business to divert his earnings, making it appear he earns very little. In fact, Terrence claimed as recently as November all he was getting in the way of income was just shy of $6k a month ... money that was paid by the ex-wife's business.
"Empire" started shooting in September, so that's when the bucks started rolling in.
But all good things come to an end, and according to the divorce, Michelle's spousal support ends next year.

“I Want To Be A Normal 22 Year Old.” – Zayn Malik Says As He Quits One Direction

One Direction’s Zayn Malik has quit the band after 5 years. The band which was formed on the X Factor show in the year 2010 also includes Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan.

 In a statement released to Daily Mail yesterday Wednesday March 25th, Zayn said;

    ‘My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I’d like to apologise to the fans if I’ve let you down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart.’

    ‘I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22 year old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world.’

One Direction also released a statement to Daily Mail saying;
‘We’re really sad to see Zayn go, but we totally respect his decision and send him all our love for the future.
‘The past five years have been beyond amazing, we’ve gone through so much together, so we will always be friends.
‘The four of us will now continue. We’re looking forward to recording the new album and seeing all the fans on the next stage of the world tour.’
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell – who masterminded One Direction from five solo artists who auditioned for The X Factor back in 2010 – thanked Zayn for his commitment to the band.
He added: ‘I would like to say thank you to Zayn for everything he has done for One Direction.
‘Since I first met Zayn in 2010, I have grown very, very fond – and immensely proud – of him. I have seen him grow in confidence and I am truly sorry to see him leave.

Re: Fayose Embarrassing Our Family, Says Brother

Press Release
A Public Relations and Media practitioner based in Lagos, Nigeria, Mr Olusegun Sunday Fayose has dissociated himself from an online story first published in the Nation Newspapers of Monday 23rd March, 2015, in which his picture was used to illustrate a damning interview purportedly granted the newspaper by one Olusegun Fayose, identified in the report as the elder brother of His Excellency, Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state.
In a statement forwarded to media houses, Mr Fayose, lead consultant/MD of Hexagon Media and former head of corporate communication/PR manager of MultiChoice Nigeria, clarified that he never granted any interview to the newspaper or any other news medium within or outside the country. He also averred that he is not related to the Governor of Ekiti State, a fact which he said is not lost on any diligent media practitioner in the country and wondered how any responsible journalist could publish his picture as that of the elder brother of the Governor especially with the benefit of several online search engines at the disposal of media practitioners
Mr Fayose further explained that the similarity in his surname and that of the Governor is a mere coincidence and wonders why two reporters (Bisi Oladele and Jeremiah Oke) who claimed that they conducted the interview in Ibadan, Oyo state with Governor Ayo Fayose’s elder brother, preferred to shop for the online picture of an innocent bystander to illustrate such a sensitive story at this critical period in the electoral process, instead of using the actual picture of the interviewee
‘As a media practitioner, I find this development rather shocking because the journalists were in a position to take live pictures of the interviewee at the venue of the interview. Should they have failed in doing this, they could have returned to correct the oversight or politely ask for a selfie which could be forwarded to them. There is also the option of using professional networking sites to access the details or picture(s) of their subject. So, I find it strange and curious that they (the reporters) could not remember the face of a subject they purportedly interviewed in less than 24 hours, he said.’
The statement called on leading blogs (such as Linda Ikeji) to retract the story or risk legal actions if corrective measures are not implemented within the next 24 hours
