Jihadi Janes: ISIS Militants 'Caught Dressing In WOMEN'S Clothes And Wearing Make-Up In Attempt To Flee Iraq's Battlefields'

Dozens of men have been caught trying to escape from northern Iraq in dresses and make-up, Iraqi forces have claimed. The photographs were posted on an Instagram account showing officials appearing to pull back clothing to reveal young boys (inset) and even men with moustaches (left). Others were pictured covered in blankets and wearing women's clothing underneath (right). Under Sharia law, which ISIS partially adheres to, women are prevented from fighting. It is not known when any of the photographs were taken.
