The War of Bitters Drink Begins between Nigerian Breweries’ Ace Root And Guinness’s Origin

Barely a year after Guinness Nigerian PLC dominated the market with its unique brand of drink; ORIGIN, Nigerian Breweries PLC is ready to give them a run for their money by launching its own version of Low Sugar African Herbs and Spirit Mixed drink, ACE ROOTS. One interesting twist about this new war is pricing. My investigations showed that a bottle of ACE ROOTS is Two Hundred Naira while the same size of ORIGIN’s bottle goes for Three Hundred and Fifty Naira.

Again, Nigerian Breweries is known for its aggressive marketing of all its brands which usually gives it an edge over its major rival in the industry, Guinness Nigeria PLC. Blasterman’s blog will continue to analyse these two brands as they square up in the world of bitters drink!
