British Nurse Who Contracted Ebola Has Got The Virus AGAIN: RAF Jet Flies Medic From Glasgow To London Hospital Isolation Unit After Symptoms Return - Just 10 Days After She Met Samcam At No10

Pauline Cafferkey, 39, (pictured left just over a week ago) was flown from Glasgow back to the Royal Free Hospital in north London this morning, ten months after she first recovered from the illness after contracting it in Sierra Leone (bottom right). She was wheeled from an RAF jet by medics in hazard suits on a bed surrounded by a protective bubble before police closed roads so her ambulance could rush her to the Royal Free (main picture). Ten days ago she was given a Pride of Britain award and met the Prime Minister's wife Samantha Cameron at Downing Street (both circled top right). Doctors say the NHS nurse has developed an 'unusual late complication' as a result of the original Ebola infection and tests have revealed that the virus is still lingering in her body. Just last week she said fighting Ebola had damaged her thyroid and her hair was falling out. Confirming her relapse - and the seriousness of her condition - Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt tweeted today: 'Thoughts with Pauline Cafferkey today as she battles Ebola for the second time'.
