Iranian boffin invents time machine

AN Iranian boffin claims to have invented a time machine which will enable him to see into the future.

Ali Razeghi, 27, says his machine can predict events eight years before they actually happen.

And he reckons his invention will allow the Iranian government to mirror the plot of sci-fi flick Back To The Future.

The film sees Michael J Fox play the role of Marty McFly who dashes through time in a speeding car.

To help readers picture the scene, The Sun have mocked up what Iranian President Ahmadinejad could look like if he successfully travels through time.

Wacky scientist Ali has registered 'The Aryayek Time Traveling Machine' with Iran's state-operated Centre for Strategic Inventions.

The machine apparently works using a person's fingerprint, with a series of complicated mathematical calculations doing the rest.

And the scientist is optimistic his device, which he says is 98 per cent accurate, will be a success.

He said: "It will not take you into the future, it will bring the future to you.

"My invention easily fits into the size of a personal computer case and can predict details of the next five to eight years of the life of its users," he told the Fars state newsagency.

The invention isn't the only product to be patented by the wacky Tehran-based scientist, who has also created 179 other inventions during his short career.

Despite his happiness at designing the machine though, Ali says he has had a hard time from friends and been accused of trying to play God with his device.
