Students Protest Over Bursary In Ondo State

Students of tertiary institutions under the aegis of  National Association of Ondo State Student (NAOSS), today embarked  on massive protest against the Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko,  paralyzing businesses and hampering vehicular movement at the popular Oba Adesida road in Akure, the capital of Ondo State.
The students from Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko (AAUA), and Ondo State School of Health Technology Akure (OSSHT) accused the government of refusal to fully pay their bursary allowances.
They further accused the Governor of  neglecting them and diverting monies meant for students bursary to finance the upcoming Federal House of Representatives by-election billed for Saturday in Ilaje constituency.
