An alleged
diesel thief has died Monday morning after he was electrocuted by an electric
barbed fence in Plateau state while trying to steal diesel from a compound.
The suspect,
who was identified as Mr. John Aboy, and two other men had attempted to get
into the compound to steal the diesel around 3am before Aboy who led the group
was electrocuted.
On seeing
what happened, the two other men took to their heels and left Aboy to his fate.
Aboy was later found hanging dead on the electric fence in the morning by residents
of the area.
The state Police
command latter arrived the scene and took the hanging corpse
away.
