The Moment Two Planespotters Miraculously SURVIVED The Shoreham Air Disaster: Photos Reveal How Men Who Were Just Yards From The Fireball Were Later Seen Uninjured

The unnamed men - one dressed in a blue hat and cream pair of shorts, and the other all in black - were pictured fleeing for their lives (above) as the scorched wreckage of the 1950s plane hurtled down the A27 on Saturday. They were at the back of an eight-strong group watching the Shoreham Airshow on a grassy verge when the aircraft failed to pull up from a loop-the-loop and plunged into stationary traffic. Witnesses have previously spoken of their concern the group may have been 'swept away' by a fireball, with police believing their bodies may have become trapped under the fuselage of the aircraft. But an image (below) taken minutes later show the same men standing close to a damaged car as debris lay around them.
