How Power Bike Killed Femi Segun On Lekki Road

The son of renowned writer Mabel Segun, Femi is dead. The charming gentleman died today. He was involved in a motorbike accident on Admiralty Road, Lekki Phase One last week and was recovering till the complications led to his death at Saint Nicholas Hospital in Lagos.The power bike he was riding had rammed into a stationary car on the run. The news of his death has been met with rude shock. He is survived by his aged mother, siblings, and 2 children(Rolari and Fikemi).

Femi Segun was an alumnus of the famous Nigerian Public School, Igbobi College, Yaba and the University of Ife (OAU). He served 3 former Heads of State as Portuguese/French interpreter and Senior Protocol Aide between 1983 and 1990. He revelled in the Arts and Antiques and attended numerous training courses on banking as well as on interior decoration and design in the UK.

His years a
s a diplomat afforded him the opportunity of serving Nigeria with honour. He travelled around the world extensively with Heads of State. Of several mentions he received,  pre-eminent is the Officer of the Order of Rio Branco, Brazil presented to him by President Joao Bernado Figueiredo in 1983
